For over 100 years Royal Printgroup de Jong has been headed by a member of the De Jong family. Currently the company is managed and owned by Joep de Jong, assisted by his son Stijn, fourth generation of this family-run business.
A management team of six members with extensive experience in the print industry runs the day-to-day operations. A crew of over 600 employees divided over 4 locations work around the clock to ensure every production is delivered on time.
Royal Printgroup De Jong consists of 4 printing factories, with a total of 18 web offset presses, 4 coldset presses, 9 sheetfed presses, 4 digital presses and a variety of finishing equipment.

On Friday, 16 June 2006, during the official opening celebration of the printer’s 100th anniversary, J.P.P.M. Hendrikx, mayor of Baarle-Nassau, conferred the ‘Royal’ designation to print factory de Jong in Baarle-Nassau, presented to Joep de Jong in the name of Her Majesty the Queen. Since then, the company has been known as 'Royal Printgroup De Jong'. 'The ‘Royal’ designation was instituted in 1807 by King Louis Napoleon. There are approximately 150 businesses in The Netherlands with this appellation. The company fulfilled all conditions necessary to earn this title, including existing a minimum of 100 years, holding a very important position within its domain and having national significance.
